The Women’s Law Association (WLA) at Elon University School of Law will host its first annual Run/Walk for Charity on March 14, starting at 9:00 a.m. at Northeast Park in Gibsonville, North Carolina.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Brain Tumor Fund for the Carolinas (BTFC).
BTFC is a Charlotte-based not-for-profit organization increasing public awareness about the impact of brain tumors and providing support for the development of treatment strategies and cooperative biomedical research related to brain tumors.
WLA is a student-run organization at Elon Law, supporting educational, professional, and personal development for all individuals concerned with women’s issues and the law by sponsoring professional, philanthropic, and social events.
The Run/Walk for Charity is open to everyone of all levels of athleticism. Registration for the 5K is $20 and registration for the one mile walk is $10. Each registrant will receive a t-shirt.
