The Campus Facilities Master Planning Committee is hosting two open forums concerning facility needs for the future on March 10 and 11. All faculty, staff and students are invited to attend.
The forums will be held in the LaRose Digital Theater in the Koury Business Center on Tuesday, March 10 at 4 p.m. and on Wednesday, March 11 at noon.
Elon has had campus facility master plans for many decades and the current plan, completed in 2000 as part of the NewCentruy@Elon strategic plan, requires an update for the next decade.
During these forums those in attendance will be given an opportunity to talk about current facilities and how well they meet the current needs, what future facilities might be needed, as well as comment on master planning principles (green space, parking and pedestrian ways, for example). The committee has retained the services of Spillman Farmer Architects of Bethlehem PA to help with this effort. They have provided these services to the university in the last two campus facilities master plans. Dan Harrigan of Spillman Farmer will lead these forums.
