With two weeks down in the 2009 POWERless Energy Competition, Chandler and Danieley C lead the rest of campus in their respective divisions in a contest to measure which building can most reduce its electricity usage.
Chandler, in Division I, has a ‘to date’ energy reduction of 15.7% while Danieley Apartments C in Division II has a ‘to date’ energy reduction of 25.5%.
In the area competition, North Area is dominating the Division I competition with 39.1% energy reduction. In Division II, Danieley Center is leading with 18.7% energy reduction.

Tip of the Week: Change your light bulbs to compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs). CFLs use about 75% less energy than standard incandescent bulbs and last up to 10 times longer.
