Tom Nelson and Frances Ward-Johnson in the School of Communications recently participated in the AEJMC Midwinter Conference in the Minorities and Communications Division.
Nelson presented a paper, “Diversity Within Diversity,” in a session focused on “Industry and Curricular Diversity Issues.”
Ward-Johnson served as conference co-coordinator for the Minorities and Commnications Division and was the moderator and discussant for a session titled “Analyzing News Content About Diverse Groups.”
The conference was held March 7 on the main campus of the University of Oklahoma.
