North Carolina Gov. Bev Perdue declared March 15-21 Sunshine Week in the state.
The proclamation urges all citizens to join in the observance of the week dedicated to transperancy in government institutions and officials. The specific Sunshine Day is scheduled for March 18 in Charlotte, N.C.
