Ken Calhoun, an assistant professor in the School of Communications, gave a presentation March 16 titled "Extending Your Reach with Interactive Media" at the College Media Advisers Spring Convention in New York.
The talk discussed how interactive tools, practices and strategies can create rich, immersive media objects and experiences. In addressing a largely student journalist audience, Calhoun discussed three “flavors” of interactive media: storytelling, conversation and responsive visuals.
