North Carolina Court of Appeals Holds Court at Elon Law – March 19

On Thursday, March 19, the North Carolina Court of Appeals will hold a special session of court at Elon University School of Law.

Judges Robert C. (Bob) Hunter, Ann Marie Calabria, and Robert N. Hunter, Jr., will hear oral arguments in the Robert E. Long Courtroom. Oral arguments will begin at 9:30 a.m., with two cases being heard in the morning. Law students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the oral arguments. At the end of oral arguments at 11:30 a.m., the judges will be available to meet with students to answer any questions they may have about the morning’s cases, the Court of Appeals, and appellate advocacy generally. Following the morning’s activities, the panel and Judge Donna Stroud will join a group of Elon Law students, faculty and administrators as guests of the Greensboro Bar Association and its Young Lawyers Section at their monthly luncheon meeting.
