A new student organization has been formed at Elon University, and we need your help to ensure its success. HEART (Helping Elon’s Ailing Remember Together) is a grief support network that offers bi-weekly support group meetings, monthly service events, and a professor-student mentoring program. The group is a student-led, peer support network, and any Elon student who has experienced the death of a loved one or who has been impacted by death in some way is welcome to participate. The service events are open to the entire student body.
Two interest meetings will be held for Heart at the following times: Monday, April 6, at 6 p.m. and Thursday, April 9, at 7 p.m. Both will be held in Alamance 215. Please contact me at hbroughton@elon.edu if you have any questions or have an interest in joining.
