The Elon University chapter of the American Advertising Federation will be holding a meeting at 7:30 p.m. April 14 in McEwen Communications 002. Cathy Constable and Michael Keeshan, both of whom have had lengthy careers at Saatchi & Saatchi, a prestigious advertising agency, will be speaking. Their presentation is titled “Inconvenient & Convenient Truths of Advertising: Industry, Craft, Careers” and will feature work they have both done during their careers.
Saatchi & Saatchi is often regarded as the most well-known agencies in the world. It has 150 branches in 86 countries and a clientele that has included General Mills, Wendy’s, JCPenny, Toyota, Procter & Gamble, Wal-Mart and Hewlett-Packard.
Since working for Saatchi & Saatchi, Constable has become chief marketing officer for AT&T, and Keeshan has opened his own strategic consultancy called MagiKbox LLC.
