David will consider the idea of the gifts we receive from people/places we least expect–in his case on a recent trip to Sudan—and the difficulty of getting from one place to another, wondering “what could be worth this?” only to arrive and immediately be renewed by the people awaiting us—their faith, hope, hospitality.
