The Elon Alumni Association will present its 2009 alumni awards during Homecoming Weekend, October 23-25. Currently, nominations are being sought for the following awards:
Distinguished Alumnus and Alumna of the Year
Awarded to an alumnus or alumna who has distinguished himself or herself in a profession and in the community and brought honor to Elon.
Young Alumnus and Alumna of the Year
Awarded to an alumnus or alumna who has graduated within the past 10 years and has distinguished himself or herself in their profession.
Distinguished Service to Elon
Awarded to an organization, business, foundation or individual who has demonstrated outstanding service that promotes the advancement of Elon.
Service to Church and Society Award
Awarded to an alumnus or alumna whose life demonstrates service to church and society.
Please consider alumni you know that fit one or more of the award categories and are deserving of recognition by their alma mater. Nominations should be submitted via the forms found on the Alumni Awards page linked in the upper right-hand corner of this page. The deadline for nominations is Monday, June 1st.
