Assistant Professor of Communications Lee Bush had her paper "Student Public Relations Agencies: A Qualitative Study of the Pedagogical Benefits, Risks and a Framework for Success" published in the spring 2009 issue of Journalism and Mass Communication Educator.
Likely the first research ever conducted on student agencies, the paper looks at the benefits of including student agencies in the communications curriculum and offers a best practice model for minimizing risks and maximizing pedagogical outcomes.
Bush is the faculty adviser of Live Oak Communications, a full-service, student-run agency.
