Thorpe Moeckel, poetry reading

After years guiding trips on rivers and trails in the Appalachians, Moeckel earned an MFA in poetry in 2002 at the University of Virginia. He has since published two chapbooks and two full-length collections of poems. A former Kenan Visiting Writer at UNC Chapel Hill, he is now an assistant professor at Hollins University.
