Robert "Bob" Anderson, an associate professor of political science, spoke with News 14 Carolina on July 2 about plans for universal health care under discussion in Washington, and what type of political considerations will be made by members of Congress and President Barack Obama's administration.
Anderson’s interview with news anchor Tracey Early will be broadcast over the July 4th weekend on Channel 14 for Time Warner Cable subscribers. Anderson shared observations on the politics behind a public health plan for the nation’s 50 million uninsured, and how many people – including those in office – aren’t sure of the impact on the private health insurance industry or how much such legislation would ultimately cost.
