From the Fayetteville Observer (7/5/09): A group of city, county and chamber officials met last week to talk about an idea that has been kicked around for years with no progress: building a parking deck in downtown Fayetteville.

A new facility that will serve as headquarters for Elon University’s men’s and women’s golf programs opens this summer on South Campus, where Elon Phoenix athletes will have access to hitting bays, a computerized swing analysis center and an indoor putting areas.

Rosemary Haskell, a professor of English, had an op-ed piece on health care reform, "The Pain of Being Ill and Uncovered," published in the Raleigh News and Observer on Sunday, July 5, 2009.
