The (Greensboro, N.C.) News & Record reported Aug. 26 on work by associate professor Mat Gendle and his undergraduate researchers into the effects, or lack thereof, of the popular Red Bull energy drink.
“Elon study shows placebo matches Red Bull’s kick” by staff writer Joe Killian examined Gendle’s findings that the drink didn’t improve attention or reaction times and that the study published in The Open Nutrition Journal “suggests Red Bull’s caffeine kick is no more powerful than coffee.”
