The School of Communications welcomed its 2009 Journalism and Communications Fellows to Elon last week. Thirty-two top students accepted invitations to join the Fellows program.
JCM Fellows are among the most active students on campus. They are expected to be involved with student media organizations, and often become leaders in student media. Theoretical concepts learned in special Fellows courses come alive as students gain real-world experience working with the student-run newspaper and online news site, radio or television station, the student public relations society, the campus film society or through an internship at a regional or national media site.
