Social Anxiety Group
This is a great weekly workshop for anyone that suffers from shyness, nervousness, or social anxiety. It assists in understanding the symptoms of shyness; identifying its origins; increasing self-esteem and confidence; increasing comfort in social and academic settings; and managing anxiety through relaxation training, self-monitoring exercises, and cognitive restructuring skills. Starting Monday, Oct. 5th. We will meet Monday evenings from 8:30 – 10 pm in McCoy Commons (The Oaks), Room 205.
