Represent Atlanta and all of the Elon Regional Alumni Chapters as we participate in a service event and help make a difference for others.
Atlanta-area alumni will participate in the Give thanks. Walk. for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 8 a.m. The family friendly 5K walk will take place at Zoo Atlanta. Alumni may enjoy music by “State of Man” as well as food that will keep you energized.
Alumni can register with the Elon Atlanta Alumni Chapter team at www.givethankswalk.org or at Zoo Atlanta on the day of the race at 8 a.m. The race begins at 8:30 a.m. Families and friends are welcome to join the team as well. There is no registration fee associated with this 5K walk although alumni are asked to reach out to friends and family to support you by walking on your team or donating to St. Jude.
The walk takes place prior to Zoo Atlanta opening, therefore, there is no admission fee into Zoo Atlanta during the walk for walkers and spectators.
Zoo Atlanta is located at 800 Cherokee Ave. SE in Atlanta.
Please note: the Give thanks. Walk replaces the SafeHouse Outreach service event scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17.
