In recognition of the National Day of Writing (Oct. 20), the Writing Programs at Elon are sponsoring an online writing gallery, featuring writing by administrators, faculty, and students.
The main Elon gallery, Writing Programs @ Elon University, showcases writing by university administrators and program coordinators who were asked to describe the significance of writing in their daily lives and/or the life of the university. Two sub-galleries feature writing associated with two of Elon’s writing programs: College Writing (ENG 110) and the Writing Center.
The galleries will remain open for submissions until Celebrate! week in the spring, when they will be re-launched as part of a year-long celebration of writing at Elon. If the early contributions inspire you to submit your own work, please contact Jessie Moore (jmoore28@elon.edu) for guidelines, or follow the “Contribute Your Writing” guidelines on the gallery pages.
The Writing Programs @ Elon University gallery is part of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) Gallery of Writing.
