R. Casey Olson, executive vice president of Occidental Petroleum, will discuss his experience working in the Middle East during a presentation on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 4:15 p.m. in the LaRose Digital Theatre of the Koury Business Center.
Olson’s presentation is part of International Studies week and is co-sponsored by the Isabella Cannon Centre for International Studies and the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business.
Olson will be talking about his career developing and managing oil and gas operations in the Middle East, and will share his unique perspective on business customs and culture in the region.
Prior to joining Occidental in 1997, Olson worked for CIBC Wood Gundy Securities Corporation in oil and gas acquisitions and divestures, and also held positions with Hunt Oil Company and Northern Natural Gas. He holds a law degree from John Marshall.
A reception will be held in the atrium of the Koury Business Center following Mr. Olson’s presentation.
