The Alumni Relations Office is asking all alumni to make sure they've updated their information for the new alumni directory.
Harris Connect is wrapping up work on the new Elon alumni directory. Alumni who have not updated their contact information are asked to call Harris toll free at 800-927-7030 to ensure that their information is included in the 2010 directory, which will be published in mid-March. In addition to offering their updates when they call, alumni will have the option of purchasing a printed or CD version of the directory.
Alumni who have already updated their information online also are asked to call Harris, which will collect information on student organizations alumni participated in, graduate degrees earned, employment and children of alumni. This information helps the Alumni Association keep graduates connected to Elon and develop programs to support legacy admissions, as well as expand reunion programs for affinity groups.
The directory, titled “Elon University Alumni: Today,” will include biographical information on graduates, including their class year, home and e-mail addresses, and professional information, and will be a valuable tool for social and professional networking. For the first time, alumni will be invited to submit photos of themselves along with brief personal updates, which will be included in the front of the directory.
