Ross Wade, assistant director of Career Services in the School of Communications, presented Nov. 13 at the North Carolina Career Development Association's (NCCDA) annual statewide conference.
Wade facilitated five mini-presentations to more than 40 North Carolina career professionals on utilizing Wordle in teaching students/clients resume writing skills.
Along with Wordle, he also discussed creative ideas for getting students/clients to conceptualize their “professional self” such as creating a six word professional statement (based off of the book, “Not Quite What I Was Planning: Six-Word Memoirs by Writers Famous and Obscure”).
