Jen’nan Ghazal Read, associate professor of sociology at Duke University whose research focuses on gender and ethnicity, the sociology of religion and health, and the assimilation experiences of Arab Americans and U.S. Muslims will give a talk on Thursday, November 19 from 12:30 pm to 2 pm in KOBC 101 entitled Who are Middle Easterners? Myths and Realities.
