Roof replacement on the colonnades at Belk Library is scheduled to begin Monday, Nov. 23, with minor interference expected for student traffic for a short period while materials are placed on the roof.
The contractor and work will begin on the south colonnade at 8:30 a.m. and will use barricades to redirect the traffic during that time.
The contractor is aware of class schedules and is making every attempt to minimize inconvenience to students and building occupants. Once initial materials are placed on the roof the inconvenience should be minimal as the north colonnade work will occur after Thanksgiving holidays begin.
