Judy Esposito, associate professor of human services studies, had an article titled “Student Actors as Mock-clients: Authentic Learning for Human Services Students” in the Fall 2009 edition of Human Service Education.
Students enrolled in Richard Gang’s Acting I class served as clients for students enrolled in Counseling Individuals and Families. The human services students found the experience to be positive and described the sessions as more authentic than role playing with a classmate.
