A holiday program filled with seasonal favorites performed by the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra takes place Sunday afternoon in Alumni Gym with a special guest conducting appearance by WMAG 99.5's Bill Flynn, a holiday sing-along and a visit from Santa Claus. Admission is free to the 3 p.m. show with the donation of a non-perishable food item.

Doors open an hour in advance and parking is free. Donations benefit the Alamance County Salvation Army Food Drive. Fox 8 news anchors Neill McNeill and Julie Luck will host the concert, with highlights that include performances by Sir Robert Bell of Clan MacMillan, and volcalists Kelly Autry and Nicholas Kent Relos. Autry will sing O Holy Night and is a sophomore at The Elon School.

The event is sponsored by the Burlington 10+ and Fox 8, as well as the Alamance Arts Council, Elon University, Glen Raven, LabCorp, Sam and Carole Moore, the Times-News, and W.E. Love and Associates Inc.
Last year’s concert series collected 643,000 cans of food and more than $21,000 for the Salvation Army in eight Piedmont Triad counties.
