Martha and Spencer Love School of Business faculty members Neeraj Gupta and Christy Benson are leading Elon business students on the Winter Term Study Abroad course titled Business in the Pacific Rim.
By visiting companies in Hong Kong, mainland China, Vietnam, and Singapore, students are observing firsthand how business is conducted in these distinct Pacific Rim economies. Students have so far toured such firms as Next Horizon in Guanzhou, the Hong Kong stock exchange, the Ford vehicle assembly plant near Hanoi, and the Singapore offices of Conoco Philips, and cultural sites such as the Temple of the Six Banyan trees, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in mainland China.
