Students take Polar Bear Plunge in Lake Mary Nell

It’s been a while since North Carolina has seen a lengthy warm spell, so at noontime on Wednesday, how did a crowd of Elon University students take advantage of the January weather? By jumping into Lake Mary Nell, naturally, as part of the seventh annual Polar Bear Plunge.
“The Time of Your Life” performance to benefit food pantry – Jan. 21-25

The Department of Performing Arts on Thursday night opens its latest show, the critically acclaimed "The Time of Your Life," which tells the story of a man searching for happiness who encounters characters in a waterfront saloon that are on the same journey. Through the duration of the production, from Jan. 21-25, the department will collect canned goods for the Loaves & Fishes Christian Food Ministry in Burlington.
National law student survey finds Elon Law excelling in experiential and collaborative learning

Measuring responses from more than 26,000 law students across the country, the 2009 Law School Survey of Student Engagement (LSSSE) indicates that Elon Law students participate in clinical, pro bono, and field experiences more often and that they collaborate with colleagues and faculty at higher rates than the national average.
