Barbara Miller receives grant to study ethics in environmental communications

Barbara Miller, an assistant professor in the School of Communications, received a research grant from the Arthur W. Page Center for Integrity in Public Communication at Penn State to study ethics in environmental communications.

The Isabella Cannon Leadership Fellows Class of 2012 visited sites in North Carolina, New Jersey and Washington, D.C., in January to learn about social change at the grass roots, state and national levels a part of the Winter Term course History of Social Change.
Elon Mathematics faculty present at TEAMS workshop

Mathematics professors Alan Russell, Kirstie Doehler and Lisa Beuerle presented at a TEAMS (Teachers Empowering All Students in Mathematics and Science) workshop on January 29, 2010. The workshop was funded by an NSF mathematics partnership grant with Vance, Alamance, and Orange Counties.
