Communications Students Have Research Accepted to 2010 NCUR

Several students in the School of Communications had their research accepted to the 2010 National Conferences on Undergraduate Research April 15-17 at the University of Montana.
Tina Das elected to board of Omicron Delta Epsilon

Tina Das, professor of economics in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, was recently elected vice president and member of the board of directors of the International Economics Honor Society Omicron Delta Epsilon (ODE). Professor Das is the faculty advisor to the Pi Chapter of ODE at Elon University and was elected to this position during the American Economic Association national meeting held in Atlanta, January 2010.
Mary Gowan elected Vice Chair of Economic Development for Alamance County Chamber of Commerce

Mary Gowan, Dean of the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business, has been elected to be the Vice Chair Economic Development for the Alamance County Area Chamber of Commerce for 2010. Dean Gowan has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber since January of 2008.
