The Kernodle Center for Service Learning invites students to apply for its Student Initiative Grant Award. Award Winners will be students who see a need in the surrounding community and have a strong desire to work with local partners in order to create and implement projects that will meet those needs. Award Winners receive between $100 and $1,000 for their project. There can be up to five Awards given per year, and the project must be completed within one calendar year (April through April). Student Initiative Grant Awards are open to any returning student who will be a full time student while being an Award Winner.
