Interested in learning about Final Cut Pro video editing software through a hands-on workshop? If you’re an Elon Communications student or simply interested in learning more about cutting-edge video software this workshop is for you!
This workshop is a basic introduction to editing with Final Cut Pro and is open to all students; however, knowledge of Apple/Macintosh computers is required as computer operation will not be covered. Topics covered will include: an overview of file management, project workflow, DV, HDV and HD file formats, FCP window layout, buttons and shortcuts, logging and capturing, working with text and graphics, filters, and basic key framing. This is a basic level course intended for students with little or no understanding of Final Cut Pro.
