The documentary “Burma VJ: Reporting from a Closed Country” will be screened at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 15 in McEwen Communications 011. The 84-minute film, released in 1998, was directed by Anders Ostergaard.
The film is about a tenacious band of video journalists who faced down death to expose the repressive regime controlling their country and documented the 2007 street protests and extraordinatry events of the “Saffron Revolution: led by Buddhist monks.
