Members of Elon’s Beta Alpha Psi chapter traveled to the national accounting and finance organization’s South Eastern Regional Conference held February 19-20 in Orlando, Florida.

Thomas Erdmann, professor of music, recently published three articles on teh March/April 2010 issue of Saxophone Journal.

A research report authored by associate professor Mathew Gendle and Elizabeth Olszewski '09 has been published in the Spring 2010 issue of the Journal of the North Carolina Academy of Science.

Kathy Gallucci presented her paper, "Ethnobotany in Samoa," at the Kampong in Coconut Grove, Fla., on Feb. 13, 2010, at the Annual Meeting of the Fellows of the National Tropical Botanical Garden (NTBG).

Elon Director of Choral Activities Stephen A. Futrell appeared as guest conductor for the Cleveland County High School All-County Chorus in Kings Mountain, N.C. The two-day clinic culminated with a performance on Feb. 22 at the Kings Mountain High School Auditorium.

Caroline J. Ketcham, assistant professor of exercise science recently, published a co-authored article, "Identifying leading joint strategies in a bimanual coordination task: Does coordination stability depend on leading joint strategy," in the January 2010 volume of Journal of Motor Behavior.

Jana Lynn Patterson completed the Advanced Threat and Risk Assessment Training sponsored by Guilford County Emergency Services and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Feb. 22-23.

Several Elon music and music theatre students participated in the NC National Association of Teachers of Singing Classical Competition on Friday, Feb. 19, at UNCG.
