Join fellow Charlotte alumni and cheer on the Phoenix as they compete in the Southern Conference Basketball Tournament, March 4-8 in Charlotte.
The Elon Women’s Basketball team will compete on March 4-8; playing March 4-6 at Bojangles Coliseum and March 7-8 at Time Warner Cable Arena. The Men’s Basketball team will play March 5-8; playing March 5-6 at Bojangles Coliseum and March 7-8 at Time Warner Cable Arena.
The men will play Davidson at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 5.
The Charlotte Alumni Chapter will host pre- and post-game celebrations for the men’s game on Friday, March 5 at Loft 1523. The Chapter will provide food and complimentary transportation to the game to those who RSVP. The pre-game celebration will begin at noon and the buses will leave at 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Alumni are welcome to bring their families and friends to the event. The buses will leave 15 minutes after the game to take alumni back to the post-game celebration at Loft 1523.
Tickets may be purchased per session for $15 each. To purchase tickets and RSVP for a spot on the bus from Loft 1523 to the March 5 game at Bojangles Coliseum, visit www.elon.edu/webservices/alumni or call toll-free (877) 784-3566. Tickets may also be purchased for both men and women’s games at the Elon table at will-call the day of the event. RSVP by noon on March 4.
If the men advance to the March 6 game, there will be another pre-game social two hours before tip-off at Loft 1523 on March 6. Buses will be complimentary and will take alumni to Bojangles Coliseum sixty minutes and thirty minutes before tip-off.
If the men advance to any games on March 7 and 8, the Charlotte Alumni Chapter will host pre-game socials at Blackfinn at the Epicenter in downtown Charlotte. The group will meet two hours before the game and walk to the Time Warner Cable Arena.
Loft 1523 is located at 1523 Elizabeth Avenue. Loft 1523 offers plenty of complimentary parking.
