The Love School of Business will host David Childers as its 2010 Business Ethics Speaker on Thursday, March 11, at 4:30 pm in LaRose Digital Theatre. The event is open to all Elon students, faculty, and the community. A reception will follow his presentation.
Childers is president and CEO of Portland, Oregon-based EthicsPoint, Inc., which provides governance, risk and compliance (GRC), management, and best practice solutions to a prestigious global client base. Prior to joining EthicsPoint, Childers was president and CEO of consumer electronics supplier Oregon Scientific.
He is a member of the Ethics & Compliance Officers Association (ECOA), the National Association of Corporate Directors, and is a charter member of the Open Compliance and Ethics Group (OCEG), a coalition of the nation’s business leaders developing compliance standards and guidelines. Mr. Childers speaks frequently on the topic of business ethics.
