Third-year Elon Law student Bernard Brown was a panelist at the North Carolina Central University School of Law Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Law Review symposium on March 19, representing the law firm of Womble Carlyle Sandridge and Rice PLLC, where Brown serves as a patent agent.

Kim Jones, an assistant professor of anthropology, chaired a session at the 70th annual international conference of the Society for Applied Anthropology in Merida, Mexico, from March 23-27, 2010. More than 5,400 practicing and applied anthropologists from across the Americas and across the globe were registered for the conference.
Ayesha Delpish appointed as ETS Visiting Scholar

Ayesha Delpish, assistant professor and statistics program coordinator in the Department of Mathematics, was selected to serve a one-month residency at Educational Testing Service as a Visiting Scholar. Her appointment will be served at ETS's main campus in Princeton, N.J., this summer.
