The Elon Alumni Board welcomed new members and leaders at its spring meeting April 8-10. The board addressed a number of topics, including Homecoming 2010, enhancements to regional alumni chapter programming and the alumni travel program, and how alumni can continue to support the fundraising endeavors of the university.
The EAB represents the university’s alumni and advises officials on programs and events to serve alumni at their various stages of life and to serve and support the university.
Bill Coffman ’86 G’88, outgoing EAB president, encouraged members to build upon the past year’s momentum before handing the reins to Kelli Palmer ’98, who will lead the EAB in 2010-11.
“Spread the word about the great things that are happening here at Elon,” Coffman said.
