Preparations are underway for Convocation for Honors, scheduled for April 13. Students taking part in the ceremony are asked to pick up their academic regalia at the Campus Shop inside the Moseley Center before Tuesday afternoon.
Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof is headlining the daylong celebration of the liberal arts and sciences, which includes the installation of Elon University’s chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
Students should arrive at the Koury Athletic Center at 3 p.m. to join the student line wearing academic regalia. The student procession into Alumni Gym will begin promptly at 3:20 p.m.
Students with last names beginning with letters A through L will assemble on the west side of the Koury Center nearest Williamson Avenue.
Students with last names beginning with letters M through Z will assemble on the east side of the Koury Center facing Belk Library.
