English professor Andy Angyal gave an April 13 talk on "Green Design and the Quest for Sustainability" sponsored by the North Carolina Humanities Council at West Regional Library in Cary, N.C.

Love School of Business professors Earl Honeycutt and Michael Rodriguez were major participants in the National Conference in Sales Management (NCSM) Conference, held in conjunction with the Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE) Conference in Milwaukee, WI, April 7-9. Honeycutt and Rodriguez, representing the Chandler Family Center for Professional Sales, presented a competitive paper, "CRM's Impact on the Collaboration of Sales Professionals," and led a special session titled "Should We Teach Our Students How to Manage Alcohol?"

Heather Bock, Howrey LLP's award-winning Chief Professional Development Officer, described significant changes in how law firms are training new associates and explored Elon Law's leadership program over a two-day visit to the law school, February 15 and 16.

Through an intensive "Lawyering, Leadership and Professionalism" course in January, first-year Elon Law students gathered insights from lawyers across North Carolina about their concepts of leadership in the law and their strategies for success in the profession.
