The Academic Service-Learning Advisory Committee has named six faculty members Academic Service-Learning Faculty Scholars. They are:
- Bill Andrews – Physical Therapy
- Philip Miller – Human Service Studies
- Phillip Motley – Communication
- Sang Nam – Communication
- Adam Short – Political Science/Public Administration
- Michelle Trim – English
The Faculty Scholars will spend the next academic year learning about service-learning and its best practices. Each will incorporate service-learning into at least one class during the year as well. This year’s cohort of Faculty Scholars continues Elon’s commitment to engaged teaching and service to the broader community.
