The temperatures may have taken a turn for the warmer, but the sights and sounds of the Polar Bear Plunge are timeless. Take a break from the late-spring heat and view a slideshow and video from January's event.
The annual rite, sponsored by the Office of Residence Life’s North Area Council, was held January 20. More than 101 adventurous students took part in the plunge, one of the largest turnouts in the event’s history. It’s the only time of the year where students are given permission to enter the waters of Lake Mary Nell.
