The Jackson (Miss.) Free Press featured 2009 alumnus Jordan Mohr as its "Person of the Day" in an April 27 article that highlighted his work with Americorps NCCC in Yazoo City, Miss.
Mohr traveled to Yazoo City with his Americorps unit to help people recovering from the damage of a devastating tornado. Recently, his unit has been involved with sending aid packages to help earthquake victims in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
