Kevin Boyle presented a paper at the Philological Conference on the use of the Petrarchan sonnet in the Northern Irish context, focusing on poems by Seamus Heaney and Paul Muldoon.

Student leaders collected more than $16,000 this year from seniors, their parents, grandparents and friends in support of the Senior Class Gift campaign, which will fund the Class of 2010 Sustainability Research Grants for students who desire to complete research on sustainability practices.

Assistant professor Samantha DiRosa will give a presentation and poetry reading at "Geo-Aesthetics in the Anthropocene," a conference sponsored by the International Association for Environmental Philosophy from May 24-26 at Salisbury University in Maryland.
