Ross Wade, assistant director of career services for the School of Communications, on May 21 co-presented at the North Carolina Association of Colleges and Employers annual conference on "The Power of Storytelling: Utilizing stories to enhance career programming and marketing efforts."
Wade presented with Gary Miller, assistant director of business internships at UNC-Chapel Hill Career Services.
The North Carolina Association of Colleges and Employers brings together all facets of the business, industrial, governmental, and postsecondary level educational communities operating within the state of North Carolina that are involved in the placement, employment and utilization of personnel for the ultimate goal of promoting and developing cooperation between members; to develop a high degree of professionalism in the field of placement; to promote research and the exchange of information needed to continually develop the practices and procedures used in placement; to extend assistance to the membership in the development of professional recruiting practices and policies.
