Josh Kapfer, an assistant professor in the departments of Environmental Studies and Biology, is now the chair of the Society for the Study of Amphibians and Reptiles' Grants in Herpetology Program.
Kapfer took over as sole chair of the committee after the individual he co-chaired with for the past three years stepped down this spring. The Grants in Herpetology Program provides small grants specifically for student researchers (graduates and undergraduates) focused on a range of topics associated with herpetological research endeavors.
