Ross Wade's "Six Word Professional Statement" career exercise was highlighted in the nationally published, monthly newsletter Campus Career Counselor.
In the newsletter’s “Tools & Techniques” section, Wade illustrates how he works with students on developing and marketing a concise and strategic professional brand to be used in resumes, cover letters, portfolios and interviews. The inspiration for this exercise came from the book “Not Quite What I Was Planning: Six-Word Memoirs” by Writers Famous and Obscure, edited by Rachel Fershleiser and Larry Smith.
Campus Career Counselor is the only publication geared specifically and exclusively to college and university career services professionals across the United States and Canada.
