Rosaline Bush ’58 publishes children’s book

Rosaline Toney Bush '58 spent more than 30 years in the teaching profession, and she draws upon that experience the recently published children's book, The Journal of Skipper Catt Esquire. The book, Bush's first published work, focuses on the aged Skipper Catt as he looks over his long life and shares what he has learned with his grandkitties.

A Burlington, N.C., native, Bush graduated from Walter M. Williams High School, earned her bachelor’s degree in English and primary education from Elon, and later earned a master of education degree from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Va. Currently retired from teaching and living in Lynchburg, Va., Bush is working on two new books: a study guide for the Old Testament titled You Found Jesus Where? and Lost and Found on Sycamore Street, a novel for pre-teen girls.
