Elon trustee Jeanne Robertson, a nationally renowned speaker with a reputation for her family-friendly and engaging humor, has signed an agreement with Comedy String Entertainment and Outback Concerts in Nashville for a 20-city tour in 2011. While the veteran speaker has a long history of success in speaking to groups and organizations, this will be her first solo comedy tour, as she performs in theaters across the country.

Elon University President Leo M. Lambert joined with leaders from the North Carolina Railroad Company on Sept. 1, 2010, to formally dedicate a railroad underpass that safely connects both sides of campus for pedestrians.

Students in the School of Communications have been required to complete internships for credit for the last several years. The professional experiences they gain help them become more capable and confident in their classes and more marketable in their future job searches.
